Current Top Commodity ETFs ad ETNs To Buy and To Sell: Buy Chocolate, Sell Cotton ETF!

We computed the RSI values of all commodity ETFs and ETNs on the market and ordered them based on short time frames and long timeframes. The results are very interesting.

Short term:

The top oversold and overbought are quite interesting, being seemingly very similar sectors.

The top oversold is UAG (agriculture)

  • UBS E-TRACS CMCI Agriculture Total Return is designed to track the performance of the UBS Bloomberg CMCI Agriculture Index Total Return. The CMCI Agriculture TR measures the collateralized returns from a basket of 10 futures contracts representing the agricultural sector.

The top overbought is by far UBC (live stock)

UBS E-TRACS CMCI Livestock Total Return is designed to track the performance of the UBS Bloomberg CMCI Livestock Index Total Return. The CMCI Livestock TR measures the collateralized returns from a basket of futures contracts representing the livestock sector.

Medium time frame:


Chocolate anyone? In the medium term, the most oversold is NIB (cocoa)

The most overbought is BAL (cotton)


Long timeframe



Most oversold: DYY (commodity double long)

Most overbought: RJZ (Elements Rogers metals index)
